Your UCR Email
UCR Students
The APRO staff will be communicating important program information with you through your UCR R'Mail so please make sure you are checking your R'Mail regularly.
Visiting students
After you have confirmed your participation in UCR's APRO Summer program, you will receive an email from the APRO staff regarding your Student ID and Net ID number. Log into R'Web, the student portal, and set-up your UCR R'Mail to start receiving important program information from the APRO staff. It is your responsibility to be checking your R'Mail regularly.

R'Web
Familiarize yourself with R'Web because it is the online portal where students review student financial account information, make payments, update contact information, set up direct deposits for non-payroll financial awards, and more!

Sign Up for Direct Deposit
DIRECT DEPOSIT FORM (Fellowship/Stipend Deposits):
We encourage you to sign up for direct deposit to have your fellowship stipends, financial aid, or any other student refunds deposited electronically into your personal bank or credit union account. You can enroll for direct deposit via R'Web (see the steps below). Direct deposit is free, fast, and reliable.Setting up your Direct Deposit:
1. Log in to your R'Web .
2. Once you are logged in to your R'Web account, click on the "Student Account" icon.
3. After clicking on Student Account, click on "Student Account Online".
4. You will be directed to an overview of your student account. Scroll to find the icon that says "Sign up For Direct Deposit Refunds!" and follow the directives.

Orientations and Important Dates
There are a series of orientation events that APRO Summer Program participants are required to attend. They are as follows:
Program Welcome Orientation : Tuesday, June 21, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, UCR Alumni & Visitors Center
Please note that if you have been approved for a special summer parking permit, it is for the Big Springs 1 Parking Structure, adjacent to Glen Mor student housing. Please do not park at the Alumni & Visitors Center for the Orientation or Symposium--you will be ticketed! Your permit is good from June 21 to August 12.

UCR Students
If you do not have your UCR ID card, visit Card Services to find out how you can get your UCR Student ID card!
Visiting students
The APRO staff will ensure you receive your UCR ID card, so you will not have to complete any items on your end. More information will be provided during the APRO orientation.

Transportation & Parking Services (TAPS)
**For the most part, you should have completed a form sent by the APRO staff that will take care of your parking permit for the summer program. If you are unsure of this, please contact the APRO staff as soon as possible. Please see the resources below if you would like to learn more about the Transportation & Parking Services at UCR.

Ontario Airport is located about 20 miles from campus; Los Angeles International Airport is about 68 miles.Various shuttle services provide 24-hour service directly from LAX or Ontario Airports to Riverside. Please check local listings for rates and availability.
Inquire at the airport for the bus service from LAX to Downtown Los Angeles Union Station. The bus service runs every hour non-stop. At Union Station, transfer by taking the Metrolink Train to Downtown Riverside. The Metrolink Riverside Line has a limited schedule, so please check the Metrolink for their schedule to plan your trip to UCR.
